2008 and up North American KLRs and 2022 and up EFI KLRs world wide have an air injection system that injects air into the exhaust through the cylinder head to help fool emissions sniffers and theoretically reduce emissions.

The MCP Air Injection Delete allows the entire injection system to be removed as MCP runs very very clean. Deleting the air injection also helps the exhaust run much cooler not to mention your KLR loses a few ounces in weight.
